During my initial year with clients, we have learned about and explored anxiety, depression, substance use, addiction, trauma (both adult and childhood), life transitions, women’s ageing, health issues, relationships, abuse, grief and loss, and more.
I have supported individuals, couples, families and groups. I have employed emotionally-focused individual therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, bibliotherapy, Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems, and other approaches as suits client goals and needs. As my approach is collaborative, we work together on all aspects of our therapeutic relationship and journey.
If you would like to see if working together would be a good fit, we have found that an initial session works well to help both client and therapist make that decision.
Walk Softly welcomes all client populations, and is an informed 2SLGBTQIA+ ally.
